Weleda Perineum Massage Oil is a pure, natural formula that nourishes and prepares the skin for birth. A massage with this mild composition, formulated with gentle almond and vitamin E rich wheat germ oil, relaxes the perineum area and keeps the skin in the birth area supple and flexible. Most women want to give birth to their children without any tears or cuts. Regularly massaging the perineum (the area between the vagina and anus) with Perineum Massage Oil helps to make the skin and tissue suppler, so that it is better able to move flexibly during delivery. How it works: The massage movements of the perineum stimulate circulation and promote the suppleness of the tissue, while the fine almond oil and wheat germ oil increase elasticity and loosen the tissue. This reduces the chance requiring cuts or tearing during delivery. The combination of essential oils of clary sage and rose gives the product a pleasant delicate aroma. The massage oil can be used from the 34th week of your pregnancy.
Regularly massage the perineum (the area between your vagina and anus) with Perineum Massage Oil, for five to ten minutes, three to four times a week. The massage oil can be used from the 34th week of your pregnancy. Tip: Massage the perineum after a bath or shower, as the tissue will be a little softer and will be more malleable as you massage.
