Thompsons Prostate Manager can be taken as the first line of defence by looking after the cellular health of the prostate. The prostate is a gland that is made up of cellular tissue. It is important to the cellular health of these tissues that they are shielded from the harmful effects of free radical damage.
Free radicals are everywhere. They are produced when stressed; eating fatty foods, smoking, drinking alcohol, or living in environmentally polluted areas. For the prostate, this can result in accelerated tissue damage. The prostate shielding ingredients in this formula are Selenium, Vitamin D3 and Zinc. This formula also contains the clinical dose of Lycopene to exert targeted antioxidant protection.
Clinical studies suggest that doses above 75mcg of Selenium will support the health of the prostate cells by exerting potent antioxidant protection. Vitamin D is beneficial in supporting a healthy prostate.
