Glucosamine helps maintain healthy joints and reduces cartilage wear. Chondroitin sulfate may play an important role in the lubrication and nutrition of the joint. Vital for structure and function of cartilage. Manganese is important for the production of cartilage and bone. Boron may play a role in relieving the symptoms of arthritis. The ingredients in Blackmores Joint Formula with Glucosamine & Chondroitin individually and together are important for the maintenance of healthy cartilage and bone. The nutrients play a role in the structure and function of parts of the joints designed to resist impact and joint overuse.
Adult - Take two capsules per day with meals, or as professionally prescribed Children (under 12 years) - Only as professionally prescribed.
Chondroitin sulfate-bovine sodium 90% 250mg, Glucosamine hydrochloride 750mg (chondroitin sulfate sodium 225mg), Manganese gluconate (manganese 1mg) 8.77 mg, Borax (boron 1mg) 8.80mg.
No medical interactions noted in the literature at recommended dosage. Shark Cartilage contraindicated in those who have recently had a heart attack, surgery, or a major accident as well as pregnant or breastfeeding women.
