Natures Own Super B Complex is a High Potency Complex designed specifically to aid the body in dealing with stress. All B Group vitamins are water soluble and not easily stored in the body so they need to be replenished on a daily basis to support many body functions. Deficiencies of one or more B vitamins can easily occur, particularly during times of stress, fasting and weight-loss or diets that contain alot of processed food, sugar or alcohol. The B group vitamins are important to the body as "spark plugs" they help to provide energy by converting carbohydrates to glucose. B group Vitamins help with the normal function of the nervous system and the nervous system is dependant on B group Vitamins. They are also helpful in balancing and conserving energy in individuals who are tired or stressed out. The health of the skin, hair, eyes and liver are influenced by B Group Vitamins as is the mucosal lining in and around the mouth. Deficiency signs include fatique, irritability, nervous tension, depression, insomnia, loss of appetite, sopre mouth or tongue and cracks at the corners of the mouth. Other signs may be premature greying of the hair, acne and weakness of the legs.
